Brazil Red Catuai Aerobics - Everything about green coffee & the coffee farmThe story of the Andrade family began in 1901 with their ancestors on the Capim Branco farm. This region is located at an altitude of between 1100 and 1200 meters, which provides ideal conditions for growing coffee due to the perfect balance of rainy and dry seasons. |
In the early 1990s, the Andrade brothers acquired the São Silvestre farm. Combined with the natural conditions of the region, the correct management of the crops, crop planning and post-harvest with selection criteria for cherries, grains and natural drying, the results are excellent, award-winning beans that are appreciated worldwide.
The volcanic soils are perfect for growing the Yellow Icatu, Yellow Catuaí and Red Catuai varieties, which thrive particularly well here and make up the majority of the farm's yields.
