Our Cascara - coffee cherry tea from coffee cherries from Brazil
Our cascara comes from Brazil. The farm is located at an altitude of about 1,200 meters and covers a cultivated area of about 300 hectares. Henrique Sloper, former president of the Brazil Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA), took over the farm from his grandfather and has been growing organic coffee there since 1999. The skins of the coffee cherry are certified organic and biodynamic (Demeter).
Our tip for preparation:
Did you know: Cascara has a much higher number of antioxidants than coffee. It has been proven that cascara has 8 times more antioxidants than blueberries, for example. Cascara also has immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties.
