Kenya Otahaya AA - Project Coffee - Everything about the green coffee & the coffee farmAt the Kenya Otahaya AA This is a project coffee. The project helps almost 15,000 residents and almost 5,000 households in central Kenya. |
The aim is to enable self-sufficiency through sustainable and ecological coffee cultivation. The farmers are trained for this and the coffee is sold transparently - without middlemen.
In addition to supporting the coffee growers, dairy farms are also being set up locally to offer young people (18-32 years old) a career perspective. In the four villages with which we work alone, over 1,000 young people are unemployed. The young people are being trained in both the production of dairy products and the distribution of the products produced. To begin with, 10 young people will have the opportunity to take part in this project and earn their own income.
